Edward cupped my face and looked down at me. It was the most open and vulnerable I’d ever seen him look. I could see all the pain he’d suffered in his eyes and it made me want to cry.
It wasn’t until Edward was kissing my face I realised I was crying. He whispered, his voice barely audible to my ears, “Shh, don’t cry.”
Edward’s walls go up the moment he feels an intense attraction to Bella. He fights against it and Bella but ultimately he gives in and the consequence will change both their lives forever. But will it be for the better or worse? Rated M. Tattward. ExB. AH
